About usOur services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success. With this understanding in mind, we provide after-school tutoring, field trips, creative writing workshops, in-school Writers’ Rooms, college essay assistance, help for English Language Learners, and in-depth publishing projects.
Positions

826 Boston After-School Student Publishing & Assessment Spec

The 826 Boston After-School Student Publishing and Assessment Designer VISTA will implement independent, writing and reading initiatives in the After-School and Evening Tutoring Programs, as well as support the creation and publication of one student publication. The member will co-select, conduct and refine assessments and observations related to writing and social/emotional learning skills. They will continue to utilize parent/student/teacher input and assessment data to inform student supports and interventions.
